Objectives of the World Human Welfare Council
The main objective of this council is to help humanity achieve perfection thru the "world religion" principles.
Other objectives include: Lightening social and religious conflicts thru mutual cooperation and coordination; educating people about south asian philosophy, astronomy, yoga, meditations, Veda, Nautropathy and Ayurveda; Safeguarding and nurturing human existence thru human service. The Council is also actively working for peace in the world. In addition, the council is involved in:
- Teaching the philosophy, principles and programs of the 'World Religion';
- Working towards religious tolerance, harmony, mutual cooperation and brotherhood among different religious sects, groups, and communities under the principle of 'Vashudhaiba Kutumbakam' (the concept of 'the whole world is a single family');
- Teaching the practical utility of Naturopathy, Yoga, Meditation and all other pertinent south asian Theological essences by introducing them throughout the world;
- Constructing, protecting, and nurturing religions, cultures, traditions, literature, heritage and archaelogical sites throughout the world;
- Being conscious of global environmental aspects and participating in activities to achieve environmental balance;
- Providing various types of services to the needy through its branches, committees and sub-committees at different levels situated throughout the world;
- Establishing shelters, rehabilitation houses and relief sites for the poor and helpless, for childrens and the elderly and furmishing these with good facilities, fooding and sanitation;
- Educating disabled and needy children by establishing boarding schools;
- Mediating conflicts between elderly people and younger generations;
- Establishing close relations with all other similar institutions of the world;
- And doing other necessary works related to the development of humankind.
